Litter Pick-up Weekend:  As a direct result of comments on the Wadhurst Partnership questionnaires, and in preparation for the 750th market town Charter celebrations at the end of June, we are planning a ‘litter picking’ weekend for June 14/15.  Please will anyone who is prepared to pitch in and help beautify Wadhurst – perhaps taking on a small patch near where they live or walk to tidy up, or co-ordinating a small ‘gang’ of volunteers that weekend – get in touch with John Mackenzie (784342; e-mail: mckenzies@ukgateway.net) or John Whitehead (783384; e-mail: john_whitehead@btinternet.com).   Any comments or ideas to improve the weekend will be very welcome.
