The season of Lent, which starts on Ash Wednesday 22nd February, provides a good opportunity for Christians from our different churches to meet together for the Lent Course. The course, which runs for 5 weeks, will start in the week starting on 26th February. We will be using the series  ‘Encounters with Jesus’  written by Joel Edwards.

Please sign up on the sheets at the back of your church, stating your preferred day of the week and time to meet (morning, afternoon or evening). Do not worry that you do not know everyone! Getting to know each other and friendship is an important expression of our Christian unity.

A new series of CTIW Evening Services will start at The Sacred Heart  Church at 6.30p.m. on Sunday 19th February. We are starting a new series looking at the different rites of passage which are part of our human existence. We will be comparing the Christian understanding and significance of these rites with the Secular understanding. The first rite of passage and theme of the service will be ‘Birth’.
