Live & worked and have done many voluntary jobs here in Wadhurst for over 23 years, as a postie for over 8 years, pioneering my voluntary security scheme across the Country, to arm all posties with a mobile phone in a scheme called TRAPS in the early 90′s, and been in Neighbourhood Watch here in Wadhurst for over 23 years, and now Chair & Area Co-ordinator for Wadhurst Area Neighbourhood Watch, with all our original N.W Co-ordinators and our Community, that have been with me as the original Area N.W Co-ordinator for the last 10 years. Work closely with Sussex Police and its officers for the benefit of this Community every day. Also run our Neighbourhood Watch information websites & ” live “crime reporting emailing system with our N.W Co-ordinators and our Community. Our Wadhurst Area N.W is fully registered with the Sussex Neighbourhood Watch Federation & Sussex Police. Also helped set up our Wadhurst Local Action Team with Sussex Police & The Safer Wealden Partnership, also was part of the Sussex Police Neighbourhood Panel. Now also Secretary to the New Wadhurst Residents Association ( having already been chair & deputy chair ). Responsible with our team for instalation of new grit bins in several areas. Founder & Campaigner with The Chronic Crohns Campaign UK for Crohns Disease sufferers, raising over £2million for a new DNA Crohns Anti-MAP Vaccine, and a new Smart Test that detects & quantifies the amount of MAP in a Crohns sufferer. A Founder of WETACKLE our local volunteer litterpick team, that works with Wealden District Council & Clean Up UK. ( recently did a litterpick with the chief executive of Clean Up UK – George Monck ), have cleared over 3500 bags of rubbish with our team from our streets since we started over 5 years ago. Founder & a very dedicated campaigner for Just Justice For Innocents, a campaign to get justice done, and seen to be done, for over 10 young local girls who became victims of a senior Wadhurst doctor, who was struck off by the GMC in June 2007, and who is finally to go to trial on 9 May 2011 at the Old Bailey in London. A Campaigner with Wadhurst Parish Concerns on many local issues. Have campaigned against public parking at the Wadhurst Fire Station on safety issues and against the Council Tax increase for this, against the instalation of a local phone mast, against other unwelcome developments. Here for this Community 100%, as my record shows.
