Ticehurst Allotment Association

If so, why not consider renting an allotment? Ticehurst Parish Council has two allotment sites in Ticehurst and last year commissioned 20 new plots in Flimwell. Stonegate is soon to have its own allotment site.  It is hoped that approximately 20 plots will be available in time for spring planting.

What are the benefits?

Allotment gardening offers a great way to relax and unwind in the fresh air and is an excellent way to meet people and be part of your local community.

Cultivating an allotment is a healthy exercise for people of all ages and you’ll have something to show for your hard work at the end of the day.

Growing your own fruit and vegetables helps you rediscover the great taste of fresh seasonal produce.

Growing your own can have a wide range of environmental benefits including avoiding wasteful packaging and reducing food miles.
