1. Oral history we still have many
local residents, whose memories stretch back into the last century or
earlier. Recording them and
transcribing to paper will provide a fascinating collection |

2. Estates & Buildings few of our
large estates and old buildings have been thoroughly studied, either for
their historical development or their construction |

3. Family history many local families
have lived in Wadhurst for generations; others have moved away but are still
interested in their roots |

4. Industry and agriculture some work
has been done on the Wealden iron industry but more could be explored;
agriculture too has change dramatically over time |

The Society is a registered
charity [Reg no: 1113106] and can count your subscription as Gift Aid,
allowing us to claim back
basic rate income tax and members, paying higher rate income tax, to claim back
