WD/2012/0702/F for OAK HALL, COUSLEY WOOD, WADHURST TN5 6HF
REFURBISHMENT OF OUTBUILDING AND ADDITION OF PART MEZZANNE FLOOR AND CONSERVATION
STYLE ROOFLIGHTS.
No objection in principle. We have noted the Wealden design guidelines
but believe implementation of this proposal can be sensitively achieved. We
note that the plans submitted do not specify the size of the new velux windows,
but we suggest that they should not exceed 600x900mm; if they can be made with
non-reflective glass and with louvres (to reduce the ability to overlook the
neighbour’s walled garden), that would be an improvement.
WD/2012/0589/FR for FORMER WADHURST CONFERENCE CENTRE, STATION ROAD,
WADHURST TN5 6RY
TO RETAIN EXISTING, EXTERNALLY MOUNTED AIR CONDITIONING CONDENSER UNITS AS
INSTALLED ON THE DEVELOPMENT.
No objection. However given the proximity of these units to neighbours,
maximum attention should be given to eliminating/reducing their operating noise.

PROPOSED INSTALLATION OF A TENNIS COURT WITH 2.75M HIGH BLACK OR GREEN UPVC
COVERED CHAINLINK FENCING WITH REBOUND WALL.
No objection.
WD/2012/0620/LB for 1 ST JAMES SQUARE, WADHURST, TN5 6BH
INTERNAL WORKS TO INCLUDE NEW CASHIER COUNTERS AND REDECORATION. NEW PROJECTING
SIGN, FASCIA SIGN, INTERNAL WINDOW MERCHANDISING, INTERNAL PLASMA MARKETING,
BLUEBERRY MANIFESTATION AND NEW NAME PLATE.
No objection. However we request a time restriction on the use of the
illuminated signs at night.

TN5 6AX
REPLACEMENT OF MODERN STYLE TIMBER DOUBLE DOOR SET WITH POWDER COATED ALUMINIUM
DOOR SET AND PROVISION OF EMERGENCY EXTERNAL LIGHTING
Objection to the proposed new doors, which we believe should be wooden
rather than aluminium. We support in principle the proposed improvement to
the lighting.

at planning meetings.
