WD/2008/1031/F  Monks Park, Monks Lane
Demolition of existing garages and garden sheds. Erection of new garaging and gardening facilities in same location
We support this application

WD/2008/0796/F  Woodhill, Woods Green
First floor extension together with general alterations and new roof dormer window.
We strongly object due to the cumulative effect of previous extensions  which we consider should not have been allowed and which have destroyed the architectural integrity of a carefully designed building. The current proposal only exacerbates this and conflicts with the Wealden Design Guide advice clause 10.5

WD/2008/0975/F  1 Eastfield Cottages, Tidebrook
Two storey extension and single storey extension (combined) under pitched roof to domestic dwelling house
Whilst we would accept the principle of a modest extension we object to this proposal as it conflicts with the Wealden Design Guide advice clause 10.5, and is architecturally unsatisfying.

WD/2008/0979/F  10 Walters Cottages, Lower High Street.
Two storey extension at side of dwelling
We strongly object to this proposal for the following reasons:-
(1)  It conflicts with the Wealden Design Guide advice clause 10.5 ie. The width is considerably more than half that of the existing width and there is no 1.5M setback from the front
(2)  Although it is claimed that there are existing precedents for similar extensions we still consider that the symmetry of the pair of dwellings and the street scene should be preserved
(3)  Whilst it may not be a planning matter we consider that it would be regrettable to lose another relatively affordable dwelling

WD/2008/0936/F  Piersons Wood Farm
Barn extension.
We support this application

WD/2008/0961/F  The White Hart, High Street
Erection of dwarf wall and railings around forecourt of public house

Cllr. Mamlok declared a prejudicial interest and left the meeting during the discussion of this application.
We support this proposal which will enhance the appearance of the forecourt.
