WD/2008/2192/F  Woodlands Farm, Hoghole Lane
Temporary mobile home for use in connection with agricultural holding.

Whilst we support the agricultural holding we are concerned that in 3 years time an application will no doubt be made for a permanent dwelling, and then if in the future the enterprise becomes non viable application will be made for any agricultural condition to be lifted, resulting in a non agricultural building well outside the development area. We would add that the holding is relatively small and could create a precedent for “agricultural” dwellings on similar small holdings throughout the District

Retrospective application for revision to planning permission WD/2008/0104/F for replacement games room.

We support this application. See also our comments dated 23.02.08.

WD/2008/2173/MAJ  Wadhurst Conference Centre, Station Road.
Demolition of the existing conference centre and erection of a new nursing home and dementia unit.

We generally support this application, and note the improved design and access. We do however have some concern over the adequacy of the laundry facilities

WD/2008/2111/LB  Walland Oast, Brinkers Lane
Vary alterations previously granted LBC. Take down 20thC partition, infill panels and ceiling in master bedroom/dressing room. Remove existing modern dormer and replace with conservation roof light. Inserted shower room partition to be timber boarded with glazed borrowed light to dressing room.

We support this minor alteration.
