WD/2008/0586/F  Manor Cottage, Faircrouch Lane – replacement boundary fence and hedge to the eastern road boundary wiht a new boared fence 2 metres high with new hedgings planted to the road side of the fence.
Strongly object as a fence of this height is suburban in character and alien to the countryside. The applicant must have been aware of the implications of security and sound transmission when the property was bought. If the latter is a problem it is suggested that a more positive reduction could be achieved by installing double glazing. It is also questionable whether adequate sight lines at the entrance could be maintained

No objection

WD/2008/0560/F    Fairhaven, Turners Green Road – Proposed detached double garage.
No objection

WD/2008/0649/F  Sorted Oaks, Churchsettle Lane – demolition of existing single store extensions to house and removal of outbuilding – proposed one/two storey extensions, new porch and proposed double garage
Approved. It is noted that there is no history in connection with the mobile home within the domestic curtilage which presumably should require planning permission

Public footpath Wadhurst 41b
We strongly object to the proposed diversion of this footpath solely for the convenience of the adjoining householder. Clearly the applicant must have been aware of the existence of the footpath at the line of purchase of the property and we can see no reason why the public should have to negotiate the extra distance involved if it is diverted
