Construction of pedestrian access
We strongly object again to this application for the reasons stated in our comments dated 28/06/08 and the fact that the applicant does not own the land between the site boundary and the pavement. Whilst sympathising with the applicant’s disability, planning approval does not usually take into account an applicant’s circumstances, as obviously the property may eventually change hands. Further, in this case the applicant must have been aware of the site conditions at the time of purchase.
We also take this opportunity to refer once again to the now approved vehicular access to which we objected and query the right of the District Council to approve its construction without the appropriate notice being served on the owner of the land that it is built upon

Replacement of existing wooden window frames to the front elevation with UPVC
double glazed units
Whilst we have no objection to the replacement of the windows it is considered
that with the current emphasis on sustainability the windows should be in
locally grown timber as we
suggested for the Uplands window replacement.

mullions to match remaining windows at property.

We support this application as it is an improvement on the current somewhat mediocre elevation. It is pointed out however that the elevation does not show the supporting column to the overhanging section.

We support this application as it is an improvement to the previous one
